varia (Gouwstraat 3, Rotterdam) is a space for developing collective approaches to everyday technology. As varia members, we maintain and facilitate a collective infrastructure from which we generate questions, opinions, modifications, help and action. We work with free software, organise events and collaborate in different constellations. varia figures things out as they go, tries to keep notes, is multilingual, has open hours and can be contacted at info[@]varia.zone.
Varia will fill the ether on the PMR Band with reports on neighborhood activities, random chatter and South Explorer updates. A day full of wireless communication technology that can be used without a license. Come to Varia op April 22nd between 12:00 and 17:00 to chat along or just have a listen. It's also possible to join this radio network with your own transmissions.
Experimental loempias, kombucha fizzzzes and cocktails will be served. All vegan and varia-made.
